What is .CRY file extension?
Map file used by games developed with CryENGINE, a first-person shooter game engine created by Crytek; stores a game level, including the terrain, buildings, mission objectives, spawn points, items, and other map objects; can be used for creating custom missions.
Crytek has developed three versions of CryENGINE: CryENGINE 1, CryENGINE 2, and CryENGINE 3. These engines have been used for games such as Far Cry, Crysis, and Entropia Universe. The engines support both PC and console platforms.
